Sheep dips, flies and cattle musters are just a few of my many fond memories of life in Northern NSW miles from anywhere.

Throughout the years as a farmer I bought and sold properties so when I headed to Sydney my career choice was a no-brainer! I became a Real Estate Agent.

Eight years ago, my partner Carmel Nola and I wanted an adventure so we headed for Darwin.

I worked for the Halikos Group when I first got here and successfully sold a number of luxury apartments in 130 Esplanade for more than $1 million.

Wanting to branch out on our own, we opened the doors to O’Brien Property Darwin in 2012.

With my business partner and marketing expert Carmel by my side, we are intent on building a business that prides itself on looking after our clients – going the extra mile.  We arm our clients with information they need to help them make informed decisions about the sale of their property – finance, conveyancers, presentation tips, property sales history and more.

It’s all about presentation, promotion, price and people; present your property at its best to attract the right buyers, market your property widely to reach the most buyers, and put a realistic price on your property to achieve the premium price and to sell it in the shortest time-frame.

It seems that what people most want when they’re buying and selling real estate is straight talk and honest advice. This sums up our approach.
